Clinical Neurofeedback Therapy, Guided by an Experienced Clinician

PeakBalance Neurofeedback uses clinical neurofeedback therapy, qEEG brain mapping, and direct clinician guidance to provide a more personalized experience than consumer devices, remote programs, or technician-led sessions.

This page explains the technology and clinical process behind PeakBalance, including how Jenessa Rudell, LICSW, LADC, BCN-L, QEEG-DL, uses EEG data, qEEG neurofeedback tools, and hands-on interpretation to guide care for adults seeking brain-based support.

What Makes PeakBalance Different

PeakBalance is not a self-guided wellness device experience. Clients work directly with Jenessa throughout the neurofeedback treatment process.

The approach is built around:

  • Clinical-grade neurofeedback technology

  • qEEG brain mapping

  • In-person clinician support

  • Personalized protocol development

  • Education and coaching during sessions

  • Direct access to Jenessa throughout care

Medical-Grade Neurofeedback Technology

PeakBalance uses BrainMaster Technologies for neurofeedback training in a clinical setting. This equipment is designed for professional EEG biofeedback and qEEG neurofeedback applications, not casual at-home use.

The difference is not just the device. It is how the technology is applied, monitored, interpreted, and adjusted over time.

qEEG Brain Mapping & NeuroGuide Analysis

qEEG brain mapping helps create a clearer picture of brainwave activity. At PeakBalance, qEEG is not just a colorful report or automated printout.

Jenessa uses NeuroGuide software to support qEEG analysis, but the clinical value comes from pairing that data with direct EEG review, client history, reported symptoms, and ongoing response to neurofeedback treatment.

More Than Pretty Brain Maps

Software-generated maps can be useful, but they are only one part of the process.

Jenessa also reviews the EEG directly. In plain language, she reads the “squiggly lines” to understand what is actually showing up in the data. That clinical interpretation helps guide more thoughtful, individualized care.

Clinical Neurofeedback vs Consumer Devices

Consumer devices such as Muse can introduce people to brain training, relaxation, and awareness. They may be useful for general wellness goals.

Clinical neurofeedback therapy is different.

At PeakBalance, sessions are guided by qEEG brain mapping, clinical interpretation, in-person support, and personalized treatment protocols. The goal is not just to use a device. The goal is to understand the client’s brain and train it with intention.

In-Person Care vs At-Home Neurofeedback

At-home neurofeedback may be convenient, but in-person care offers important advantages.

Accurate sensor placement matters. So does real-time observation, coaching, adjustment, and the ability to ask questions during the session.

For many clients, that higher-touch experience helps them feel more supported, informed, and confident in the process.

Clinician-Guided Care vs Technician-Led Sessions

Some clinics rely on technicians after the intake process.

PeakBalance emphasizes direct clinician involvement. Clients work with Jenessa throughout treatment, not just at the beginning.

That means questions can be addressed in real time, protocols can be discussed thoughtfully, and clients receive education during the process rather than being left to wonder what is happening.

A Specialist Approach

PeakBalance is intentionally focused.

Jenessa’s approach is simple: do neurofeedback and do it well.

ADHD remains the flagship focus of the practice, with support also available for anxiety, PTSD, substance use, and related regulation challenges. This is a specialist model built around clinical neurofeedback therapy and qEEG-guided care.

Who This Approach Is For

This approach may be a fit for adults who are:

  • Exploring non-medication ADHD support

  • Comparing clinical neurofeedback with consumer devices

  • Looking for qEEG brain mapping before treatment

  • Wanting direct access to the clinician

  • Seeking a personalized, brain-based approach

  • Willing to come in person for a higher-touch experience

Curious Whether Clinical Neurofeedback Is Right for You?

If you are comparing neurofeedback options, PeakBalance can help you understand what makes clinician-guided, qEEG-informed care different.
